Dear Members,

It is time to prepare for our Annual PAAMA Conference. This year we are once again holding the conference at the Atherton Hotel, State College, PA. The dates are: November 4, 5, 6, 2009.

The hotel will hold 35 rooms until 10/03/2009. Please make your reservation no later than October 3, 2009 so you are assured of receiving the special group rate of $97.00/night for single or $107.00 double occupancy. When making reservations, be sure to tell them you are with the PAAMA/PENNDOT group. The number to call for reservations is 800-832-0132. Additionally, if you plan on attending, please fill out the attached conference registration form and send it, along with the payment, to me at the address listed below.

A detailed agenda will be forthcoming. However, as in previous years, the Board of Directors' meeting is on Wednesday; Thursday is breakfast on your own; meeting room for AM/PM functions with luncheon in between. Thursday dinner also is scheduled as a conference event. Friday is continental breakfast, AM meeting and lunch. Please let us know on Thursday if you are intending to stay for the "get away luncheon" on Friday. We will have forms distributed for you to preorder your meal as in past years.
